【Drug name】

General name: Ma Xing cough syrup
Chinese Pinyin: Maxing Zhike Tangjiang
[Ingredients] Ephedra, bitter almond, gypsum, licorice (roasted). The auxiliary materials are sucrose, benzoic acid, and purified water.
[Properties] This product is a brown and viscous liquid; it tastes sweet.
【Functions and indications】 Relieve cough, eliminate phlegm, and relieve asthma. Used for coughing and wheezing in bronchitis.
[Usage and Dosage] Oral, 15 ml at a time, 3 times a day.
[Adverse reactions] Not yet clear.
[Tao] It is prohibited for pregnant women; diabetic patients are not allowed to take it.
[Precautions]
1. Avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy, cold, and greasy foods.
